Footnote	The above standards are setting the minimum performance requirements for the voluntary system (product) standards where National regulations apply. See the section “standards” for each of the application areas for details of the main standards. Products that comply with the appropriate system standards and the requirement of the appropriate performance standard may have  CE marking applied to them. In the UK CE marking is not mandatory for product produced under the mandate for Construction Products.   The above standards are still undergoing the voting process and are not yet applicable to product standards.
